2. Loetje Oost
When you say Loetje you say “Amazing Steak”. I for own love to go to Loetje.
In the Netherlands, there are more than 25 Loetje restaurants. Go to a Loetje restaurant for your morning coffee, lunch, dinner, or just a bite., for me, the main reason to go to Loetje is to eat a steak. Beside steaks Loetje has a great menu, they serve club sandwiches, focaccia, salads, vegetarian dishes, and daily soup, all yummy and very tasty.
Another Loetjes specialty is the dessert “Sticky Toffee”. Do you like sweets? This dessert is healthy, sweet, and made of dates with fresh whipped cream, it surpasses all your expectations.
Loetje Oost is one of the hippest Loetjes restaurants in Amsterdam, located in a dike of a corner building with a large hall, a central bar, and colorful art on the walls. The staff is very friendly, it’s a nice place to be.

5. Waterkant, pretty close to Leidsche Square
Nice restaurant, delicious Surinamese food, good price, nice music, and friendly staff. Come and enjoy your breakfast, lunch, or dinner on the terrace with a view of the Singelgracht in Amsterdam. Wonderful Surinamese atmosphere. Great beer cart. If you feel adventurous, order a sublime Bird of Prey, this is all you need to start off with, and the adventures will follow subsequently. One of the most precious IPA’s, or India Pale Ales if you will. This is a hoppy and yet kick-in-the-face fresh beer, with an ABV percentage of 5.8%. I for one LOVE this beer 😀

Best place in Amsterdam for Coffee – Food – Cocktails.
Coffee and Coconuts otherwise referred to as CT Amsterdam. I recommended this all-day hotspot, especially the early breakfast, it’s great but you have to order before 13.00. Breakfast, lunch, meetings, and laptop sessions. Nice big place, you can stay for hours just drinking your coffee or eating a nice bowl of yogurt. Good prices.

8. Pont 13
This old ferry is a great restaurant. The ferry was built in 1927. Until the late nineties, the ferry was used to transport pedestrians and motor vehicles over the IJ. After this time it was sold and finely ended up as old scrap. Saved from demolition Pont 13 was converted into a bar-restaurant. The concept was a success. In October 2005 Pont 13 opened its doors. Since April 2010 Pont 13 has had a permanent berth in the Western Houthavens.
9. De Biertuin
Great location, just across Oosterpark and Tropenmuseum. They serve a large diversity of beers and other beverages. Beer is served mainly at large beer tables outside on the terrace. Drink nice beers and eat the tastiest burger in town, that’s what people say about De Biertuin. They also serve a good chicken at the spit. You can’t make a reservation, so be early if you want a good table.
