“Dick Bruna House” renamed “Nijntje Museum”
<
p class=”post-paragraph_featured-detail post-paragraph_first_featured-detail” style=”text-align: justify;”>Nijntje is created by Dick Bruna in 1955. Dick is a famous person in Utrecht. In 1955 his first book on Miffy was published. During half a century Dick published more than hundred books on Miffy in 57 languages. Miffy has its own museum called the “Dick Bruna House”. When you visit Utrecht you must visit Nijntje in the Nijntje museum, which is in the Museum Quarter. Since July 2015 the Dick Bruna House is renewed and temporarily closed, the museum will be renamed in “Nijntje Museum”. A grand Nijntje exposition is visitable in Centraal Museum just opposite the street. The new museum, open from 6 February 2016, is larger and the content is even better suited to families with young children.
A visit to the Miffy Museum is an active journey of discovery that children will never forget. Crawl, explore, sniff, dance: you learn so much more while you’re playing!
