The current Rutte IV cabinet fell because the parties could not agree on asylum policy. This means that the Netherlands did go to the polls again. The early House of Representatives election took place on November 22, 2023. At the recent elections, the Party for Animals gained 3 seats in parliament. In 2023 the Partij voor de Dieren has almost 25.000 members, and the party is still growing.
