Route Canal Pride Utrecht
The Utrecht Pride parade gathers at the Oosterkade, the start is at the Catherijnesingel and sails under Hoog Catharijne towards the Weerdsluis, after which we sail onto the Oudegracht. The parade officially ends at the Ledig Erf and therefore sails along the Oudegracht from north to south. Please note: The boat parade can only be viewed from the shore.

The rainbow flag has 6 colors that symbolize the global diversity of gays and lesbians. Added to the rainbow flag is a triangle with the colors of the transgender flag, white, pink, and light blue, and the brown and black bands. To symbolize Intersex a yellow purple triangle with a ring is added to the rainbow flag in the middle. LGBTQIA+ is an evolving acronym. Rainbow Bicycle path Science Park Utrecht
In the Utrecht Science Park, you’ll find the longest rainbow bicycle path in the world. This vibrant path, stretching 570 meters, is a symbol of inclusivity and welcome from Hogeschool Utrecht, Universiteit Utrecht, and Utrecht Medical Centre. With this rainbow bicycle path, they aim to show that everyone is welcome.
Additionally, in the city center of Utrecht, you can find a similar path, the rainbow pedestrian crossing. The crossing lights here feature Nijntje / Miffy, the beloved character created by Dutch artist Dick Bruna, further enhancing the welcoming atmosphere of the city.
